No! Not a wolf. It was a Native American Indian Dog (NAID).
Native American Indian Dogs are not wolf hybrids. They did not result from the breeding of a dog and a wolf. The Native American Indian Dogs that exist today were developed by dog breeders in the 1990s. These breeders specifically looked for dogs which had wolf-like appearances and bred those dogs to enhance these features. The result is a dog that looks very much like a wolf but which is not a wolf hybrid.
So if you see a variety of colors, large white teeth, a plush double coat and a look of extreme intelligence, you could be staring at a NAID. These dogs are generally well-mannered and friendly.
